This series comes from the expression 'Tinhoso', widely used in Portugal and mostly in a pejorative sense. The idea is to offer a different perspective on the term—showing that it can also carry a sense of criticism, identity, and charisma.

The Grumpy Ones can’t seem to shake a restlessness in their heads — or a stone in their shoe, the rain forecast; existence, hair loss, the lack of sidewalks. Bothered by the meaning of life and the cost of living, they're always on a micro-dosing of disdain. They’re against the system, but they don’t fall for populist groups. They might complain, but they don’t do cheap-style gossip. They always have a counterpoint on the tip of their tongue, but they don’t always let it out.
What they bring: It is believed that they ward off toxic positivity from a home and attract quality criticism — essential to any self-respecting household.
